In 2018, David Chipperfield’s multifunctional James-Simon-Galerie building was opened at Berlin’s Museum. It has been providing access to the Pergamon Museum and in the future is to provide access to the “Archaeological Promenade“. To match the elegance of the architectural environment, the grey ribbed carpet is inserted with anodised aluminium profiles. Not only help to maintain cleanliness but it also contributes to sustainability as the individual ribbed carpet strips are easy to replace when required. Hence, it can be used for the long term.
