- Charge electrical devices when the cabinet door is closed
Frankfurt am Main / Lingen, 11th March 2019 – emco Bad presented a product upgrade in its successful Prime and Prime 2 illuminated mirror cabinet series at the ISH 2019 in Frankfurt am Main. From widths of 1,000 mm, all models are now fitted with a second socket. Here, the manufacturer dealt to a pressing modern issue, namely that several electrical devices such as shavers, hairdryers and toothbrushes are used in most bathrooms today and that the industry is seeing increasing customer demand for a charging power source in bathrooms, e.g. for mobile phones. The second socket adds to the electric box with its socket and integrated light control system which is present in all models. Both elements are installed in a corner and fit seamlessly into the cabinet’s interior, saving on space and matching the colour scheme. They can also be used when the cabinet door is closed. Another notable feature of this series, which unites design with quality and great ease of use for the customer, are the glass shelves which can be installed at any height and the soft close damper integrated into the hinges. All models are available as a surface-mounted or flush-mounted version and with either a mirrored or white glazed back wall, as desired. Furthermore, a light package is also available as an option. The light package enables lighting intensity and colour to be set as wished.
The new additional sockets in the Prime and Prime 2 illuminated mirror cabinets are integrated into the cabinet interior in perfect harmony.
